The University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning has over two dozen Nationality Rooms, which were recently (December 2001) decorated for Christmas.

I live on my own and always put up a christmas tree, although I have Christmas at my daughter's. I think it would be sinful not to have one. I live in New Zealand and of course we don't get snow in the warmer parts and we also have a hot Christmas so I add some artificial snow and icicles to my tree to make it look like the real thing.

I remember having a Christmas tree in my classroom at St. Francis Xavier Academy in Vicksburg, Mississippi. We would decorate the tree according to a certain country. Not only was this a special event for us....we learned about other countries and customs. I can recall coming to class one morning and noticing ants covering our tree of fresh cranberries and popcorn. That was at least 45 years ago!
