A really dreary, rainy day today, so here's another from yesterday....
This is the Senior Fence (aka "The Fence"), which was a gift to CMU from the Senior Class of 1920-something. Before the days of universal
access to Usenet, Blogs, IM, etc., this was where campus organizations
would advertise their events. As recently as ten years ago, it was
common for the fence to be repainted five times a week while classes
were in session; these days, it often goes two weeks without a fresh
coat of paint. And no, I don't know why it reads "Fence!" right now....
