Milk Weed Bug

Since monarchs spend most of their life cycle on milkweed plants, I have been searching diligently all of the milkweed in the area. Besides coming across an immense variety of garden spiders, occasionally the plants burst with with color from these milk weed bugs. They're really a harmless bug, providing lively color to the drab plants. There are often nice surprises in things we're not even looking for.
