The house on main street was built entirely by Spud and Evelyn. They first dug out the basement and topped it off, as you can see from this photo, so they could all move in. Then they took the next five years to add the rest of the house. Evelyn helped mix mortar and carried bricks in a wheelbarrow to Spud who laid out each and every one.
