The house on main street was surrounded by an orchard of apple trees - that stretched all the way down to the highway. They later added a stone wall, built by hand, and a swimming pool, that was one of the first in town and which made the house a happy playground for all of the neighborhood kids - and a place that keeps warm memories to all who have been blessed enough to have shared some of the apple crisp baked within and the love radiating from it's first foundation.
