Watercolor and Ink
The White Pelican fascinates me. It is a huge beautiful bird and one I had always associated with hot marshy areas like Florida or Louisiana. In the last decade, however, it has made an appearance on the Mississippi River where it migrates north of Iowa for summers and south again in the winter. It is always fun to see (assuming that you are not a fisherman, since I understand they do tend to eat a lot of the native fish in an area).
