The pride had made two successful kills overnight & this young male Lion had a full belly. There were still large numbers of Wildebeeste passing through however & he couldn't help but take part in another hunt. In this image he is highlighted by the rising sun as he intently watches a Lioness as she takes up position on the river embankment near the crossing point.
