The compulsion to keep on the move following the rains in search of fresh sweet grass induces some seemingly foolhardy behaviour amongst certain Wildebeest. This site was a less than ideal crossing point as it involved steep banks and a stretch of fast-flowing water with a number of large crocs patrolling nearby. Nevertheless a number of animals crossed here without mishap.
