GAMBIAN BIRDS

This fantastic wee country, only six hours flight from Western Europe, is the perfect introduction to African birding. The Gambian bird list is in excess of 540 species of which 200+ can be easily seen on a leisurely two week holiday with minimal effort. A trip up the Gambia river has an exotic expeditionary feel without any great risks & has the potential of adding some very special birds.

This gallery is a record of birds I have seen in The Gambia -as such some of the images are of a quality of which I am quite proud, however the majority are simply record shots which satisfies the 'collector' in me!

You did the fabulous birds of Gambia proud with this excellent gallery! I loved the Gambia and will certainly return. It looks like you had several very enjoyable and succesful trips there.
