I had a problem with the horn where it would tend to sound when I turned the wheel. These pictures snow (although not terribly well) my disassembly of the steering wheel and my fix, which turned out to be temoprary. I used electrical tape around the spring-loaded roller (which keeps contact with the contact ring in the wheel itself). Within 2 months of regular use, the tape wore clean down to the metal again (allowing a short between the metal roller housing and a part of the shaft in the column). My horn problem returned... I disassembled again and used duct tape this time. Going on 3 months without a problem now.
