Treated to Jerk Chicken and Pork (Jamaican barbecue) for lunch by the Green Castle Estate (which by prearrangement had agreed to provide all our meals). The location (Boston Bay) is famous for this Jamaican specialty cuisine, which traditionally was cooked in underground pits. The story is told that this area attracted escaped slaves who needed to conceal their presence, so they developed a smokeless cooking style.
