For this outing to the John Crow Mountains, we piled into the van at 5 am, and arrived by 7:20 am. We needed the early start to be in place to see the endemic parrots - Black-billed Parrot and Yellow-billed Parrot. My wife and daughter (non-birders) came along for the ride, and while we birded all morning on foot, Trevor accompanied them on an excursion to a nearby seaside village.
