A Caribbean endemic, this tiny (2.5") drab hummer (female shown here-male lacks white tail spots) is the second smallest hummer in the world (after Bee Hummingbird, in Cuba). The female is almost identical to Bee Hummingbird, but lacks white spot behind eye and unlike Bee, has some green spotting on throat.
