Formerly known as Stripe-headed Tanager, a species complex from various Caribbean islands, this is now considered a Jamaican endemic. We saw several on the Estate House grounds (see link for my ebird checklist for the Estate House gardens the morning of 16 Jan 2014.) However, they were more abundant in the mountains further east.
