The picador's job is to weaken the neck and shoulder muscles. It is not pleasant to watch, but then I do not hunt animals for sport either. I prefer to hunt with a camera. We saw El Cordobez in 1967 and he was a big celebrity in Spain, but it was hard to watch the killing of the bulls. Voted.

Querido, this is the part of the fight, that I feel is cruel, but thats what they do. I often wonder what the fights would look like if this was not done. It would be a different story...The shot is excellent and shows as it is...Ron
