Ice Ribbons

Therese discovered the ice ribbons in our back garden one morning.
We've only seen this phenomenon a few times, always out in the woods before and smaller/fewer.
Amazing to find such a large cluster near the house.

The branch rings are on a maple tree at my childhood home. Somewhere I have a more dramatic one taken when the branches were covered in ice.
