While headed down to the outhouse early one morning, I heard this buzz in the sky and saw a tiny speck flying in out of the east from the Sierra crestline. I ran back up to get my camera and just managed to get a few shots off while this fellow did a circle arourd the lookout, and quickly vanished to the west towards Oroville.
In 20 years of mountaintop sitting, I'd never seen an ultralight this high up in the Sierras. Takes a pretty adventurous soul......which makes me wonder what Steve Fossett was doing on the morning of July 31st???
