In the off season, I acquired an old Kiron (Lester Dine) 105mm f2.8 macro lens on eBay. While it doesn't meter with the D70, it's darn sharp. I actually had the lens mounted on an old PB-6 bellows to get this shot. These pine sawyer's are not the major destroyer of trees around here, but sure looks like it could do some damage!
