Taken around 7:30 a.m. this morning, the smoke took a normal overnight down drainage course towards Bullards Bar Res.
The fire is still in the bottom of the Canyon Creek drainage. Everything west (beyond) that drainage is on the Plumas NF.
Last I heard yesterday, the fire was maybe 5 acres. Looking to get a helicopter back in there early this morn.
Fire is about 4 miles west of the lookout.
About one hour later, the breeze up here is around 8 from the SE. You can see how once the smoke rises from the canyon it's starting to bend toward the NNW.
Haze has been cut with a polarizer. Focal length 40mm left, 20mm right.
UPDATE: Fire is ~10 acres this morning.
