On the Plumas, the fire is 6 miles NW of the lookout. At 7 P.M., the IC is cautiously optimistic that they can hold the fire to under 140 acres.

Update: As of 7 A.M., Thursday morning, the fire is thought to approximately 65% contained, with total containment estimated at 1800 hrs this evening, July 16th.
Current size estimate is thought to be 180 to 200 acres.
