This is from the wilderness area south of where most folks go to visit 'The Wave'. The lottery for that more popular region was a bit nuts while we were visiting. Around 30 or more folks would show up to try to get one of the 10 permits granted for the next day. The 'South Buttes' area turned out to be quite wonderful, as well, but the soft sand road to our parking/camp spot almost had us turn back at several places before reaching our destination at Paw Hole.
