Of the trio of gorgeous libraries that I saw in Prague (see two previous entries), this one was the most striking to me. The relief of the plaster decorations in conjunction with the colorful frescos and beautiful proportions of the space make a huge impact.
As I said before, I would love to go back and re-photograph this hall with knowledge that I've gained in the past 5 years as well as my improved equipment. All that said I think this photo turned out pretty nicely and might be the best photo of the library that is currently on the net -- this is shocking given the limited quality of my photo as well as the beauty of the place... the good photographers must not be sharing nicely :-)
