Jumping Spider (Phidippus otiosus)

After a little research, I'm fairly sure it's a Phidippus otiosus spider.

A little red and he would be the santa claus of all spiders, great work, Peter

Wow. Very nice detail pablo. I think jumpers are some of the most interesting spiders around --- and this one is no exception.

Looks quite cute from this angle! Like a teddy bear, that bites back!

Definitely a "Jumping Spider", but to exact species can be difficult. I usually submit them to "BugGuide" for proper ID's. Nice shot of the little one.
