tony, thanks for your very appreciated comments. on some pictures i got the sharpness from jpeg (with the 10d) and on some i got it from raw.
since i use a canon 1d mark2 i mostly use raw as it allows me to postprocess my images the way i like (with photoshop, fred miranda's filters, powerretouche and color mechanic).
when i had the canon 10d i used the photocleaner software to enhance the camera-jpeg's (www.photocleaner.com).

I have been looking at your images and i like them very much,i like your close ups and scenery,i have a canon 10d but i take my images in raw,mainly becuase i am not happy with the sharpness if i dont use raw!but i notice your snest are very sharp,do you get the shots sraight from the camera that sharp?i would like to know,thank you.tony.
