The Blues & The Grays

A Civil War re-enactment performed beautifully! We went on Sunday & got to
to see the Battle of Chancellorsville, also known as "Lees Greatest Victory".

This battle was from May 1st thru the 3rd in 1863. Although the casualties
were almost 5000 for the Union side, it appeared to be just as heavy for the
Conferderacy as well. The men battled on foot & on horseback. It was intense!

A good gallery my dear. my favourite movie has always been " Gone With The Wind " I was raised with my parents talking about it then when it was finally re- released I could not tell you how many times I have seen it...anyway from then on I've always had a softness for the South.
