Special Christmas Scene For Louise

Simi, CA

There are many things about this shot that make it a special Christmas scene,
but the one that holds the fondest childhood memories for me is the lil' red
elf on top of the manger, kickin' it & listening as the angels sing next to him~

That lil' guys is about as old as I am, and although his hands are no longer
attached to one another, locking around his knees, & perhaps he's missing his
felt collar now, but he has been my lil' Santa's Helper since I can remember,
bringing me hours of fun as I played with him! (I never had a Barbie, LOL)

The funny thing, is that the angel which adorned our tree top through-out my
childhood was apparently something my Mom used to play with all the time when
she was a kid. And yes, we still have her, although she has seen better days ~

Praying everyone out there was as blessed as we were this morning...
with family, huggs & lots of joy! Happy Birthday King Jesus!!

Love this, and your narrative. I can identify with the thoughts of Christmases past. Find it difficult to throw out any old favourite decorations.
