An up close & personal look at the mission bell at San Francisco Solano
Mission. It is from 1811 & was a stunning treasure to behold under it's
plexiglass home. I was thrilled to have my new Zee 6 to be able to zoom
in and actually capture the details that were unattainable to touch.

Greetings Max ~ Regardless of whether the peeps at the Mission can date this bell back earlier than the 1950's, surely the bell its' self is stating when it was created...?

Hi everone, just came across this phicture of the bell at Sonoma Mission north of San Francisco. I have seen this bell several times and can sayfor sure that the bell cannot be dated later than circa 1950. The people at the mission have no solid history of this bell only word of mouth.
