We spent the night in Lone Pine, CA to break up our trip to LA. Quite a few old Western movies were filmed just outside town -- Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Gary Cooper, and more have quite a history there. For a desert area, there was quite a bit of green; and, for mid-April, it was pretty warm.
