Norah had a four day weekend for Labor Day and we thought it was a perfect opportunity to do a road trip to New Mexico. Norah had never been and it had been decades since I had attended a wedding at Taos Pueblo, so we were excited to hit some new spots. New Mexico was a perfect blend between the outdoors and culture. We had a terrific time! And as true for all of our trips - we didn’t have nearly enough time - hopefully we can return sooner rather than later. This was our itinerary:

Day 0: Drive to Winslow, overnight
Day 1: Petrified Forest National Park, Albuquerque Ghost Tour, overnight ABQ
Day 2: Kasha-Katuewe Tent Rocks National Monument, Santa Domingo festival at Kewa Pueblo, Meow Wolf, overnight Santa Fe
Day 3: Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos Bradbury Science Museum, overnight Santa Fe
Day 4: El Malpais and El Morro National Monuments on our drive back home
