Given the remoteness of the Huayhuash circuit and the high altitude, we rented a horse for our trek just in case one of us needed a lift. Luckily we never needed it, although every day our crew asked if Norah wanted to ride (our crew and everybody we met were shocked she hiked the circuit on her own - she did do an amazing job!). Norah was itching to sit on the horse and she finally got her chance this morning while we were getting ready for the day.
