Cartwheeling through the Piazza dei Signori

While the other piazzas we visited were bustling with a lot of activity, Piazza dei Signori was more quiet and low key. It was a nice reprieve from all the action. Our guidebook records our same observation: "Despite its proximity to Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori is totally different in shape, style and atmosphere. It was once described, somewhat romantically, as the "drawing room" of Verona, and it is probably the most distinguished and elegant place in the city, characterized by an air of peace and harmony".
