Visibility was limited in the fog and once we startled a grouse. He almost pooped on our heads when he flew away. We also saw a huge number of spider webs along the trail - I've never seen so many before. And they were well constructed, nicely round webs too. It took awhile before we spotted some of the residents of the webs.
