Today our good weather streak broke. We knew it was going to be iffy, but waited until the morning to make the final call. I was talking to a very nice hut worker and she said it would rain until Sunday. Seeing that it was only Tuesday, this did not look promising. Even though we thought we could reach the next hut before the afternoon rain, we likely wouldn't have any views and then would be stuck at the same hut for days (no way were we hiking these trails in rain!). So we opted to leave the Stubai route and hike out.
