Plan B was hiking to Surprise and Amphitheater Lakes, about ten miles and ~3000 feet elevation gain. We got a later start than usual from the Lupine Meadows trailhead, but it was a nice trail with switchbacks and we made good time (2 hrs 40 minutes to Amphitheater) - Norah did a great job!
