On Tuesday Steve and I woke up early to grab a cinnamon roll at the Bearclaw Bakery (it's a requirement to eat breakfast here at least once!) and were on our way to the trailhead at Island Lake. We planned to hike to Albino Lake, about 12 miles round trip with negligible elevation gain.
Dad went fishing on the Soda Butte in Yellowstone and caught twelve trout. One advantage of the Soda Butte is that it's actually better later in the morning, so he had time to eat breakfast with Mom and Norah at the Bearclaw before fishing.
