We stopped in West Yellowstone and had lunch at Las Palmitas, a taco stand in a bus (fun spot and tasty). We continued through the west entrance and saw elk in the Madison River once we were in the park (we seem to usually see elk in this area). We parked at Norris Geyser Basin to take a short walk around Porcelain Basin. We took a look at the geology exhibits then stepped out to this overview of the basin.
