The size of the crater at Excelsior Geyser is pretty impressive (250 by 300 feet). It was created by a one time 300 foot eruption (!!!). While it not longer erupts, it's constantly steaming and has water overflow measured around 4000 gallons per minute (Old Faithful takes two months to discharge as much water that Excelsior puts out in a day!). Quite a geyser!
