After crossing Beartooth Creek we had an easy climb on Trail 621 through the forest to the south shore of Beauty Lake (about 1.5 miles). The light wasn't very good for pictures, but it was a picturesque lake. It took another quarter of a mile along the lake to reach the junction with the Beartooth High Lakes Trail (Trail 620).
