In the middle of the picture with the flat gentle slope is Laston di Formin. Later that day we would stand at Forcella Giau, directly below its eastern face on the right. Slightly to the left and behind Laston di Formin with the jagged teeth is Croda da Lago. Rifugio Palmieri is on the other side of Croda da Lago, our final destination of the day.
