On our fourth day Steve got an early start to climb Fremont Peak. The normal ascent is from Indian Basin, but he decided to climb from Mistake Lake. At 13,745 feet, Fremont Peak is the third highest peak in Wyoming (the first is Gannett Peak, also in the Wind River Range and the second is the Grand Teton, which Steve climbed in 2006).
