Joshua Tree National Park sits on the boundary of the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts. Park Boulevard passes through the Mojave section of the park, which at 3000+ feet elevation has the cooler climate that supports Joshua trees. There were endless shapes and sizes of the Joshua trees which made for a very cool landscape.
