We took a long break at Granite Park. The Chalet has drinks and snacks for sale and overnight accommodations for those with reservations (made well in advance). We looked longingly at Swiftcurrent Overlook, but it would have to wait for another time since we still had four miles to go to The Loop (which would take longer than expected since we came across monster patches of blackberries and raspberries. Norah was covered in berry juice and looked like bear bait).
