After Steve returned from his morning hike and we had breakfast, we ventured out to Mirror Lake with Little Pudge. Even this time of year there were remaining snow drifts, one of which blocked the road to Mirror Lake. Luckily, it was a short distance from the road to the lake and trailhead so it wasn't that much further to walk in. We saw a family from Louisiana whose kids had never seen snow and they were excitedly trying out snowshoes on the large snow drifts.
