This festival takes place every year on November 14-18, so it ends on the day when the Latvia's independence was declared in 1918. That is usually a rather dark time so this event introduces a nice contrast. The sites are mostly located in the Old Town and nearby downtown areas, but some others can also be found in other parts of Riga.
