Images of my Olympus C3040 and the D-CA2 enclosure. It is a flexible, plastic bag type of enclosure, made by Ewa Marine (www.ewa-marine.com). It is guaranteed to 10m but blowing enough air inside before diving can work down to 15m before the bag shrinks too much and presses all camera buttons at the same time... The plastic is rugged and seems resistant to tear. Since the pressure inside and outside the case is always the same, it is unlikely to develop leaks once it is properly closed, as opposed to rigid cases where all feedthroughs seals support the water pressure. Once the pressure has shrunk the plastic around the camera, all buttons are easily accessed. It is advisable to insert a small pack of dessicant (silicagel) inside the bag to prevent condensation. For the Olympus C3000 line of cameras, the camera has to be inserted switched off with the lens retracted. Also, the filter adpater, Olympus CLA-1 is necessary to protect the lens barrel from the water pressure. The CLA-1 is placed first inside the lens bellows of the enclosure and then the camera. It does not need to be screwed to the camera as when used for filters. I use my CLA-1 but any similar size rigid tube, if it fits around the extended lens and sits over the camera body, should work.
