Tom M. (MrQuietGuy)

The background is a photo I took from our deck. I found the man and easel on the internet (I don't know who the man is), selected them and pasted them onto the background. I resized and positioned them where I wanted them. I then copied the background layer to create a new top layer and used the Transform tool to make it fit on the canvas. Then I gave it some bevel and used Hue/Saturation and Levels to give the picture on the canvas more color and pop. Finally, I added the banner at the top, using a warped text layer and some pictures of leaves I had laying around.

I live on Forge Mountain in Mills River, in western North Carolina. Between Asheville and Brevard. where the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains meet.

Great work!
And it's a photo from your deck? Wow - where do you live?
