You should carry out the color correction through Levels and Curves and setting the white and grey points. Also play with the Shadow/Highlight function to correct unevenness in levels between the brightest and darkest parts of the image. To get better color IR images do try to shoot only under clear blue sky sunny conditions. If you scan through my E-300 IR images, you would see that the ones with colors were those taken under those conditions. Under cloudy and overcast conditions, the results would tend to be more B & W.

I will try your advice. Color correct do you make through Channel Mixer (red and blue)?
I think I have to try everything until I'm happy with my IR photos...cause until now I'm so dissapointed....Yours are so beautiful! Thanks so much for your time and all your kind help!
I don't think CWB could be carried out on any Olympus DSLRs through an IR filter. What I normally do is to set the WB manually to 2000K to minimise the intense red cast to something like a purplish red one and then color correct to get rid of the rest of the color cast in Photoshop. If you want the blue skies in your IR pics, then you would need to go to the Channel Mixer in Photoshop and in the Red Output Channel, set the Red Source Channel to 0, Blue Source Channel to 100, then go to the Blue Output Channel, set the Red Source Channel to 100 and Blue Source Channel to 0.

Thank you so much! As I'm not a prof I hope to be able to shoot IR photos like yours, they are fantastic!! Thanks again for all time and kind help!
Don't need to be converted first. Just put on the R72 filter and shoot.

The Olympus E-300 (digital) must be converted to shoot IR photos, or just put the Hoya R72 is enough to take infrared photos? I would very much appreciate if you can help me with this. Thanks!
