Juvenile Herring Gull on Miners Beach

After John Gerlach identified this gull, which was hanging around our group in the sand and water, I ran for my 300mm lens and chased
it up the beach for several minutes. I'm certain that people on the beach thought I was crazy. It finally stopped
moving and allowed me to take this photograph.
