I have the desire to see the photos larger, separately, but I realize that defeats the intent of the image as a composite work. I found myself eying the comparative length of the shadows, trying to gauge how long apart they were taken. The branches' shadows stay remarkably similar, so it cannot have been too long. I enjoy the rhythm of each shot, with the people heading right, right, right, left; single, single, single, single, double; striding and striding, then standing...My favorite is the man on the second row, second from the left. He's gesturing as he talks on the phone and walks---but in his shadow the gesture becomes a full arm wave, much stronger and emphatic than the original.
