I go down and have a Tim's coffee and get the extra large regular of the sum of $2.00. Probably 500 ml. Now I go and get gas for my car and it cost's $1.24 L...Look at the work that gas goes through to get to your car... No brain-er here.. bottle water and pop are big rip offs also... Most things are based on your gas... if it goes up, everything goes up..When I got my first Job when I was a kid, I got .50 cents a hour...Gas was 45 cents a gallon, beer $2.50 a dozen, smokes were .45 cents a pack, Wine was as low as .99 cents a bottle hard liquor was $6.00 per bottle.. they threw away pork ribs, milk 25 cents per bottle... time changes everything.. some day my kids will be paying $10.00 per liter for gas and eveything will go up at the same rate... by that time, I won't have to worry, I will be long gone...
